3 de plus en plus autoritaires, un appel à retrouver la voie de la réflexion politique et de la solidarité nous a sortis de la torpeur politique ou plus exactement d’une pratique narrative répétitive, les ritournelles forcément agressives remplaçant l’analyse objective et la collaboration avec des militants et des militantes d’autres pays et d’autres traditions politiques.
Cet appel «Pour une gauche démocratique et internationaliste» ouvre la revue et cadre donc son contenu. Son sens politique est immédiatement mis à l’épreuve dans les deux articles sur les principaux conflits en éruption, la guerre russe en Ukraine et l’occupation israélienne sanglante de Gaza. Les auteurs, Vitaliy Dudyn et Alex Gourevitch, sont des chercheurs mais aussi des acteurs politiques. Tous deux réfutent la thèse qu’une analyse politique se résumerait à choisir un camp. La lutte pour la paix et l’émancipation est toujours complexe lorsque les forces politiques dirigeantes ont des intérêts qui divergent in fine de ceux de la majorité des populations.
Depuis un certain temps, dans le cadre multipolaire où dominent les impérialismes américains et chinois, la Chine apparaît moins sur le devant de la scène même si son influence est perceptible dans les relations internationales et les conflits.
Dans quelle situation se trouve la Chine aujourd’hui ? Quels sont ses difficultés économiques, ses contradictions politiques et les objectifs du clan qui la dirige ? Dans l’escalade possible des conflits actuels son rôle est capital. Ainsi, par exemple, de sa décision d’envahir ou non Taïwan dépend leur transformation en guerre mondiale.
Depuis plus de quinze ans, l’Iran des mollahs est secoué par des mouvements populaires de masse qui affrontent la dictature. Aujourd’hui, «Femme, vie, liberté» se poursuit encore dans la difficulté d’un régime policier et l’écheveau complexe tissé par les interventions impérialistes iraniennes dépassant aujourd’hui le cadre régional. L’interview en deux parties réalisée par Commons de Frieda Afary revient sur la «révolution des mollahs» et pointe l’aveuglement de certaines organisations révolutionnaires qui, axées uniquement sur la lutte contre l’impérialisme américain, n’ont pas évalué la dangerosité de la politique du fondamentalisme religieux, ici sous sa forme du chiisme radical. Cet aveuglement est au cœur des reportages de Michel Foucault qui suivait les événements pour le Corriere Della Sierra. Il inventa même la notion de «spiritualité politique». Préparé depuis plus d’un an, réfléchi collectivement avant d’être signé par des intellectuels, artistes et blogueurs russes, le Manifeste «Monde durable: notre vision» vient d’être publié sur le site Plateforma en russe, en anglais et en ukrainien. Les signataires s’engagent résolument pour la paix en Ukraine, le retrait des troupes russes et disent clairement que rien ne sera possible sans un accord avec la société civile ukrainienne. Rien ne sera possible avec le régime de Poutine. Ils engagent une réflexion radicale sur la construction de la démocratie en Russie. C’est une invitation à la réflexion, à la réconciliation et à la coopération. Nous suivrons pas à pas l’évolution des discussions générées par ce texte.
La cohérence de la revue, à travers la diversité des situations étudiées, porte sur le refus des réflexes pavloviens qui consistent, non à réfléchir, mais à choisir «son camp». Affronter les contradictions, la complexité des relations de classe, de l’ensemble des rapports sociaux, des relations interimpérialistes n’est pas affaire de conviction ou de foi.
La rubrique «On en parlait déjà hier» abordera grâce à Otto Bauer la question des nationalités et du territoire dans l’empire austro-hongrois. Cette question ne se pose plus directement aujourd’hui en Mittleuropa mais bien au Moyen-Orient.
